Defense of the doctoral thesis
On December 3, 2024, the defense of the doctoral thesis “Red algae biorefinery employing innovative technologies for the extraction of biomolecules for food, cosmetic and therapeutic uses” will take place from the auditorium of the Faculty of Sciences of Ourense, presented by Milena Álvarez Viñas. The thesis has been supervised by Dras. María Dolores Torres y Herminia Domínguez.

Introduction to Python course
To be held at the UCM on May 9-10, organized by M. Oliet within the activities of the BioSos BIORREFINERY NETWORK (RED2022-134457-T) and taught by J. C. Domínguez.
HYDROGEN: KEY ENERGY VECTOR IN THE ENERGY TRANSITION
The course will provide an overview of hydrogen technologies in its first session, with the participation of the main actors working in Spain on the development and implementation of these technologies. The following session will focus on the use of hydrogen in land vehicle mobility, and will serve as a practical example of the application of hydrogen.
